Iconic art deco offices at the entrance to Preston’s Riversway Docklands have been acquired by a digital advertising company for their new office.
Robert Pinkus & Co. LLP, acting on behalf of Minton Investments (Warrington) Ltd. has successfully completed the sale of The Old Docks House, formerly the headquarters of NCO Europe.
New owners, The Community Network are a local success story. They started off as a family business and are now an international company with operations here in the UK and also in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. Suppliers of high tech digital advertising and information systems, their success has come as a result of focusing on installing their systems in high prestige venues such as post offices, medical centres, shopping centres and leisure centres. Despite being a global entity, The Community Network has never lost sight of its local roots, which makes Preston the ideal location for their new office.
The prominent, two-storey, detached office building situated on Watery Lane at the junction of Port Way, on the edge of Riversway Docklands, will become the company’s new Preston base alongside their existing offices at Poulton Business Park, Poulton le Fylde.
Danny Pinkus, partner at Robert Pinkus & Co. said, “This landmark office building is synonymous with the history of the docklands and has an original charm about it, both inside and out. We are pleased that The Community Network UK have taken it on as their new offices and we wish them all the best in the future.”
