Builders Yard sold for new home development

The old home of Jewson’s builder’s yard on Aspden Street, Bamber Bridge is to be transformed into a new business and residential area. Builders, Newfield Homes, have been given permission to flatten part of the site and build 11 two and three bedroom homes along with new accommodation for local firm Garage Doors (Lancashire). A new entrance to the site will also be opened up to provide single point access for heavy goods vehicles.
Construction will commence once developers have agreed a fee with the council to make a contribution to an area of open public space. Robert Pinkus acted as sole agents on behalf of Jewson Ltd. in respect of the land sale.
