Barnardo’s Opens Two New Outlets
Posted on 2nd January 2013
The UK’s biggest children’s charity Barnardo’s continues its ongoing NW expansion plans by opening two new retail outlets in Longridge and Blackpool.
The Longridge unit is at 33 Berry Lane, formerly a kitchen showroom and at the heart of Longridge’s high street. The new tenants take the unit from landlords Manchester-based Maryland Securities Ltd. on a five year lease. Robert Pinkus 7 Co. acted on behalf of the landlord.
The new Blackpool branch is located at 27 Church Street, at the heart of Blackpool’s busy shopping district.
Joe Assalone, Partner at Robert Pinkus & Co. said, “These two new outlets for Barnardo’s are in key retail positions for the charity which will give a positive boost to its fundraising. Barnardo’s vital expanion plans are also helping to plug some of the gaps still visible on our high streets which is healthy for any town as a whole and impacts positively on other traders in the vicinity. We wish Barnardo’s well for the future.”
