1st Phase Works Near Completion at Teanlowe Centre, Poulton
Posted on 14th March 2014
Developers can report that the first phase of works is nearly complete at the Teanlowe Centre, Poulton le Fylde.
The Market Place entrance, which has been temporarily closed due to essential BT and Electricity North West works, will re-open on Monday 17th March in plenty of time for Easter trade.
Refurbishment of the Market Street Mall is about to start, to include renewal of ceilings and floor finishes together with other works.
It’s business as usual at the mall and all shops remain open throughout the refurbishment works, accessible through the Teanlowe Car Park and Blackpool Old Road entrances. The next phase of the development will require a further temporary closure in July for four weeks whilst a new glazed entrance to Market Place is constructed.
Ian Roberts, Site Manager at the Teanlowe Centre and representative of main contractors Eric Wright Construction said, “We wish to thank all customers for their continued and valued support throughout the works as we understand that it can be difficult during this transition period. We ask them to please bear with us as we are working very hard to bring a bright, new shopping experience to the people of Poulton.”
Graham Booth, Property Director at Booths said, “Works are well underway and we’re on target to deliver some great new looking shops open for business by the end of the summer. The re-development of the mall has been long overdue and it’s really exciting to finally see the plans taking shape and becoming a reality.”
